Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. Introduction

Dynode LLC ("Dynode," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Primoraly platform and website (www.primoraly.com). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By using Primoraly, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you directly provide when using our Service:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, company name, and password when you create an account
  • Business Information: Business names, domains, keywords, and competitor information you enter for tracking
  • Payment Information: Billing address and payment details (processed securely by Stripe)
  • Communications: Messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us
  • Free Visibility Scan: The scan on our homepage needs no account, but it does need your email address, because that is where we send your report. We record the address, the domain you entered, the city if you provide one, and the results of the check. We keep the address and may use it to contact you about Primoraly; Section 6 explains how to have it removed. We also record the IP address the request came from, to prevent abuse of a service that is free to you but costs us money to run.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information when you use our Service:

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, actions taken, and time spent on the Service
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience
  • Log Data: Server logs including access times, pages viewed, and system activity

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third parties:

  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture
  • Payment Processors: Transaction confirmations and billing information from Stripe
  • Analytics Services: Aggregated analytics data about Service usage

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Provide the Service: Operate, maintain, and deliver the features of Primoraly
  • Process Payments: Handle subscription billing and payment processing
  • Send Communications: Send transactional emails, reports, and service updates
  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance and optimize our platform
  • Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance
  • Security: Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
  • Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our Service:

  • Railway: Application hosting
  • Hetzner: Database hosting (Germany)
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Resend: Email delivery
  • Sentry: Error monitoring. When something goes wrong we send Sentry the technical details of the failure — the error message, the code that produced it, and which page or endpoint was involved. We have configured it not to send personal information, not to record your screen, and not to send the contents of anything you submit.
  • Google (Analytics and Advertising): Website measurement, and measuring which advertising leads to sign-ups. This runs on our public marketing pages only — never inside the logged-in application. Section 8 sets out exactly what is sent, and what changes if you decline.
  • AI Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity for ranking checks (queries only, no personal data)

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dynode LLC, our users, or others.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Secure authentication with password hashing
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
  • Secure payment processing through PCI-compliant providers

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service and maintain your account
  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting requirements)
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Scans run from our homepage without an account are not attached to any account, so deleting an account does not reach them. We keep them to answer repeat requests for the same domain without re-running the check, to prevent abuse, and to understand demand. If you gave us an email address for one of these and want the record removed, email privacy@primoraly.com and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal information
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Portability: Request a portable copy of your data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications

To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@primoraly.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function (authentication, security)
  • Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences and settings
  • Analytics and Advertising Cookies: Understand how visitors find us and which pages lead to sign-ups. These are only set if you accept them, and are never set inside the logged-in application

What declining does, and what it does not do. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and no identifier is stored, so nothing is used to recognise you on a later visit or to follow you to other websites. The Google measurement tag does still load on our public marketing pages, and until you accept it sends Google a limited, cookieless signal — the page being viewed and the action taken, with no cookie and no stored identifier. That lets us count visits in aggregate without identifying anyone. It never runs inside the logged-in application.

Purchases. When a subscription is paid for, our server reports the transaction reference, the amount, and the plan to Google Analytics, so we can tell which advertising leads to sales. This is sent by our server rather than by your browser, so your cookie choice does not prevent it; it is not connected to your browsing unless you accepted measurement.

You can change your answer at any time using the Cookie choices link at the bottom of any page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information receives adequate protection in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@primoraly.com.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to know what personal information is collected, used, and shared
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@primoraly.com or use the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link (note: we do not sell personal information).

12. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data
  • Right to restrict or object to processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw consent
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Our legal basis for processing personal data includes: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
